GET TO KNOW ME

My name is Miranda Leblanc

When I was younger, I had a really good experience with a therapist that changed the direction my life was headed. That experience led to my desire to help others and eventually, after pursuing many other dreams, I signed up for a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. Soon after, I completed a Master of Counselling Psychology degree and registered as a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO). As an RP(Qualifying) in the North Bay, Ontario area, I am committed to the well-being of all my clients. I have experience and training to support clients with anxiety, depression, PTSD, CPTSD, relationship challenges, addiction, anger management, chronic pain, grief, infidelity, and daily or work-related stress.

My lived experience with trauma led to my passion for helping others with Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy. I have additional EMDR-related training in DeTUR (addictions), ego state and internal family systems (IFS) therapy for complex trauma. As a client of EMDR, I can attest to its powerful effects, and I am grateful to utilize this wonderful modality in my practice.  I also love working with couples and am trained in the Gottman Method couples therapy. I specialize in treating affairs, addictions, and trauma in couples. I truly care for all of my clients and work diligently to help find them the answers they seek. I look forward to hearing from you and walking with you on your healing journey.
