Healing Connections is a small counselling & psychotherapy practice based out of North Bay, Ontario, Canada.

We believe that counselling and therapy are true healing practices and that in order to heal, we need to honour the mind-body connection and consider all areas of our client's lives before creating our treatment plans.

We work from a bio-psycho-social approach and assess our clients’ fulfillment in areas of work or occupation, social engagement, spirituality, primary relationships, and community engagement.

At our core, we believe that all people are capable of healing and change.

Brene Brown

“Vulnerability is the birthplace of innovation, creativity and change.”

When I was younger, I had a really good experience with a therapist that changed the direction my life was headed. That experience led to my desire to help others and eventually, after pursuing many other dreams, I signed up for a 4-year Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. Soon after, I completed a Master of Counselling Psychology degree and registered as a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO). As an RP(Q) in the North Bay, Ontario area, I am committed to the well-being of all my clients.

My lived experience with trauma, led to my passion for treating trauma with Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy. As a client of EMDR, I can attest to its powerful effects, and I am grateful to utilize this wonderful modality in my practice.  I truly care for all of my clients and work diligently to help find them the answers they seek. I look forward to hearing from you and walking with you on your healing journey.
