Alida McAuley
Master of Arts Student

Alida is completing her Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University. She also obtained her Social Service Worker Diploma from Canadore College and a Bachelor of Science Honours Degree in Psychology from Nipissing University.
She has worked for the NNDSB and the Canadian Red Cross. She was also with Hands thefamilyhelpnetwork.ca for 10 years working in Live-in Treatment Services, the Lotus Youth Centre and for the Child and Youth Crisis Line. Alida has extensive experience working with children and youth with ADHD, ASD, anxiety and depression. She also works with adults with Anxiety, depression and PTSD. She has training in Play Therapy, Therapeutic Crisis Intervention, CBT and DBT.
She lives in South River with her husband, she has 6 children and 2 rescue dogs, Piper and Skye.
