Julia Fletcher
Reiki Practitioner & Therapist in Training
In Person and Virtual
Julia Fletcher is a Therapist in Training dedicated to supporting children, youth, families, and adults through a compassionate, client-centred, and strengths-based approach. She is committed to creating a safe and supportive space where individuals can explore challenges, build resilience, and develop practical skills to navigate life's complexities with confidence.
Julia works with clients experiencing anxiety, stress, low mood, life transitions, identity-related concerns, and challenges related to disability and systems navigation. She believes that every individual possesses unique strengths and capacities for growth, and she collaborates with clients to identify goals, build on existing resources, and foster meaningful change.
Her approach integrates Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)-informed strategies within a supportive, skills-focused framework. She also provides psychoeducation, advocacy, care coordination, and assistance navigating community resources and support systems. Julia is passionate about helping clients understand themselves more fully while developing practical tools to manage everyday challenges and improve overall well-being.
In addition to her social work training, Julia has completed American Sign Language (ASL) Levels 101, 102, 103, 104, and 301 through Canadian Hearing Services. She brings foundational knowledge of Deaf culture, communication accessibility, and inclusive practice into her work, helping to create a welcoming environment for diverse individuals and families.
Julia's goal is to empower clients through a collaborative and anti-oppressive approach that honours their lived experiences, strengths, and identities. She strives to provide a warm, non-judgmental space where clients feel heard, supported, and equipped to move toward their personal goals.
