Karen Bell
Hons BSW RSW, Psychotherapist
Karen is a graduate of the Laurentian University Social Work Program (Honours) and brings over 30 years of experience supporting adults through trauma, addiction, mental health challenges, and life transitions.
She has extensive experience providing both individual and group psychotherapy, with a focus on trauma, substance and behavioural addictions, suicide prevention, and concurrent disorders.
Karen believes healing is a whole-person process that involves understanding root causes, strengthening insight, and building on each person’s natural resilience and strengths. Her approach integrates emotional awareness, mindfulness, spirituality, and practical therapeutic tools to support lasting wellbeing.
In her work, Karen focuses on mood regulation, emotional intelligence, and identifying and navigating triggers, helping clients move toward meaningful and lasting change. She supports individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, grief and loss, shame, anger, self-doubt, imposter syndrome, and feelings of isolation or disconnection.
Karen approaches therapy as a collaborative partnership, creating a space where clients feel seen, heard, and supported as they move toward their personal wellness goals.
If you’re ready to begin your healing journey, Karen welcomes you to connect and explore how therapy can support your path forward.
