Introducing the Creative Connections Club: A Therapeutic Social Group for Kids Ages 7–10

At Healing Connections Psychotherapy, we know that childhood is full of big feelings, new experiences, and developing social skills. Many children need a safe, supportive space where they can build confidence, learn emotional tools, and connect with peers in a way that feels meaningful and encouraging.

That’s why we’re so excited to introduce the Creative Connections Club — a therapeutic social group designed specifically for kids ages 7–10. This weekly program blends creativity, emotional learning, play, and skill-building to help children grow socially and emotionally in a nurturing environment.

🌟 What Is the Creative Connections Club?

The Creative Connections Club is a therapist-led group that meets Tuesday nights from 6–7 p.m. The group supports children in understanding themselves, building friendships, managing feelings, and practicing key emotional regulation skills — all through fun, engaging, age-appropriate activities.

Each week focuses on a different topic that gives kids the tools they need to thrive at home, at school, and in their relationships.

Each session builds on the last to help children develop emotional awareness, resilience, and healthy connection.

The group is led by our compassionate, experienced children’s therapists here at Healing Connections Psychotherapy. Our facilitators specialize in child development, creativity-based therapy, trauma-informed care, and emotional skills training.
